FLORHAM PARK, NJ - AAA Northeast reports that the average price for a gallon of gasoline in New Jersey fell by two cents in the past week. The average price, $2.44, is two cents cheaper than the national average.

The October 23 survey found that gas prices continue to fall around the region as well: one cent in Connecticut, from $2.72 to $2.71; two cents in Pennsylvania from $2.67 to $2.65; and three cents in New York, from $2.67 to $2.64.

The New Jersey price is 41 cents more per gallon than during the same period in 2016.
