NUTLEY, NJ - Ballot positions for the 2017 Nutley Board of Education after names were pulled at Essex County Clerk Chris Durkin's office on Monday. 

Five candidates are running for three seats on the BOE.Three of the candidates are incumbents, one served on the BOE in the past but not the current term, and the other is a newcomer. The terms of three current BOE members, Lisa Danchak-Martin, Frederick Scalera, and Salvatore Ferraro are up in November. Newcomer Karen O'Malley, and former BOE member Kenneth J. Reilly are also running.

.Candidates will appear on the ballot in the following order: Scalera, Ferraro, Danchak-Martin, Reilly, and O'Malley.
