BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Leaders in government and industry will celebrate the 346 Bloomfield College graduates during the institutions 144th Commencement on Friday morning. Families, friends, faculty and staff are encouraged to share their pride an joy using the hashtag #BloomfieldGrad17 across social media platforms.
The ceremonies are scheduled for 9;30 a.m. on Friday May 19 on the historic Bloomfield College campus. This is a ticketed event.
The 144th Commencement will include remarks from honorary degree recipients U.S. Senator Cory A. Booker, award-winning ABC 7 News anchor Lori Stokes, and Dr. Melissa Nobles, Kenan Sahin Dean of the School of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, and Professor of Political Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The Chair of the Board of Trustees, William H. Turner, III, College President, Richard A. Levao, President of the Alumni Association, John Murdock '73, and Valedictorian, Lidia Wrobel '17, will also share remarks.
