BLOOMFIELD, NJ-- Mac-Adley Hypolite, Jr., better known around town as 'Mac', is at it again. In his eternal search for a trail, path, road or highway to travel with his omnipresent bike, Mac is once again traveling from Bloomfield to Florida to raise money for Children's Specialized Hospital.  Although he's made the 1000 plus mile trip before, ( this time he's receiving a special sendoff courtesy of the Bloomfield Recreation Department.

On April 28th, the Bloomfield Rec Department, located at 84 Broad Street in Bloomfield will provide their facility for Mac to hold his sendoff.  Mac will provide pizza and other refreshments that will be available for all who would like to come out to show their support.  A movie will be shown from Mac's last journey and he'll be answering questions about the ride. There will also be an opportunity to purchase Daywalker shirts, Mac's custom design, to help raise funds for hotel costs.

The event will run from 12 noon to 2pm and admission is free.  "Special thanks to the Bloomfield Recreation Department for allowing me the time for a town, family, and friends get together before my charity biking journey starting in Bloomfield to Florida. Thank you for the support, encouragement, and donations," said Mac.
