FAIR LAWN, NJ - An employee at Biagios Pasta & Pizza, 23-14 Fair Lawn Avenue, allegedly struck the owner with a spatula over a dispute about his duties.
On Wednesday, April 4, at approximately 9 p.m., the owner of Biagios told his employee Danaury Rodriguez, "that he had to clean," according to police.
Rodriguez, 39, of Paterson, and the owner began to argue, "at which point, Rodriguez picked up a metal spatula and struck [the owner] on the forehead," police said.
The 51-year-old owner from Nutley received a "minor laceration" to the forehead, according to the police report.
Rodriguez, who remained at the restaurant after the incident, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon.
