MONTCLAIR, NJ - The Dissection of Thanksgiving, a feature film co-written by Montclair resident Troy Hall, will premiere on Thursday, November 17 at 7:30pm at the Bellevue Cinema, located at 260 Bellevue Avenue in Upper Montclair.
The film will star Montclair residents Troy Hall and Deshja Driggs-Hall. Following the film will be a question and answer period with the cast, director Rafael Monserrate and the producers.
Set in Buffalo, New York on the day before Thanksgiving, Cliff and Carol Morgan take their three grown children out to dinner to tell them that, after thirty years, they are getting a divorce.
As they spend what could be their last Thanksgiving together as a family, everyone tries to salvage what little is left.
Filmmakers describe it as a dysfunctional family comedy with heart that they hope will make the viewer laugh, cry and ultimately, appreciate the importance of family.
