NEWARK, NJ - The Vicinage Advisory Committee on Minority Concerns of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Essex Vicinage, will hold an expungement seminar on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at J. Harry Smith Lecture Hall, Essex County College, 303 University Ave., Newark.
Topics will include the process for expunging criminal and juvenile records, the types of records that can be expunged, the time requirements for an expungement, filing for an expungement and what happens after an expungement is granted.
Representatives from the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, Essex-Newark Legal Services and the Judiciary will conduct the seminar.
A Spanish interpreter will be available.
