MONTVILLE, NJ - Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey invites GSNNJ alumnae and others to take two hours to de-stress and appreciate why we need to take the time to care for ourselves.
Join us for an evening of health information and exercise outdoors on Aug. 9 at Lake Rickabear Camp in Kinnelon from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Alumnae and friends of Girl Scouts are encouraged to bring a friend (non-alumnae welcome) to this health and fitness crawl. Warm up with a short tour of our campsite, followed by two 20-minute sessions of yoga and zumba (try out one session of each, or two the same). Learn from a registered dietetic technician how and why we need to live healthy to deter illness and perform our best. Wear comfortable exercise clothing. No yoga or zumba experience necessary. Space is limited. Register no later than two days prior to your choice of date and location at www.gsnnj.org/alumnae.
This networking event is hosted by the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey Young Alumnae Committee. Cost is $10. For more information, call 973-248-8200.
The Alumnae Association is open to adults interested in Girl Scouting and how they can help girls reach their leadership potential. The Alumnae Association offers its members a chance to learn, mentor and connect professionally and personally at Girl Scout program activities and events.
