I am truly thankful for the community that I have called home for the last 15 years. Many of our residents and businesses have stepped up in this unprecedented time to provide in many ways for others. Among the many acts are:
Our first responders doing drive by parades to provide a ray of sunshine to those kids celebrating their birthdays, but unable to truly celebrate
Our first responders along with those of our neighboring towns showing support for our medical community at Clara Maass Medical Center
Residents and Businesses providing meals for our first responders
Residents making masks and giving them out for free
Teachers of our local schools parading around the neighborhoods in which they teach
Residents volunteering at the Nutley Family Services Bureau to make sure that our residents have food to eat
Local Businesses hosting fundraisers for the Nutley Volunteer Emergency & Rescue Squad and donating PPEs
These are just a few of the many acts our community have done in the last few weeks. These are inspiring and proves that when this is all over, that we will come back stronger than ever.
