NUTLEY, NJ - Neil B. Conlan, Assistant Vice President, Branch Manager-Nutley Branch of Investors Savings presents a check in the amount of $5000 to Eileen Painter, Executive Director Nutley Family Service Bureau (NFSB). The check represents a grant from the Investors Bank foundation for which NFSB applied. 

Conlan and Painter were joined by volunteers who were donating their time today at the NFSB Annex today. 

Students from John H. Walker Middle School, Amy Tucker and Eva Smythe were sorting recent donations from the Giving Garden and the Greenutley collections at the Nutley Farmers Market.

Thrift Shop volunteers Arnette Quigley and Maureen Marcavage joined Francessca Pagnotta, Judi Arcuti,and Paul Ferrera who were working at the food pantry today.

Investors Bank Foundation grant to NFSB will allow them to continue their century long mission of helping others. 

The Nutley Family Service Bureau was founded in 1913 by a group of groundbreaking women who recognized the need for social services in the community. Initially organized to serve the less fortunate in Nutley, the social service programs created during the New Deal and Great Society shifted the focus of NFSB to counseling for families and individuals. NFSB still runs a food pantry to help with supplemental nutrition needs of their clients.
