NUTLEY, NJ - Join TAPinto Nutley Editorial Director John Lee for the Nutley Farmers' Market 'Walk and Talk" Sunday June 25.
Topics will include new ideas for Jersey Fresh produce, getting kids (and adults) to eat more fruit and veg), and composting as a civic responsibility, Planting to attract pollinators will also be touched upon as the harvest in the Garden State depends on bees.
This is an open conversation. Participants are encouraged to share their favorite ideas, tips and hacks. Walkers may ask how to share their civic group, charity, or faith group events on TAPinto Nutley.
The walk starts at 8:30 a.m. in Nutley Municipal Lot No.1 (the parking lot behind Krishna). The route goes through a large swath of the Nutley park system to the dam at Kingsland Manor before turning back to the Farmers' Market. The route is about three miles and is done at a leisurely pace.
After the walk, enjoy the Nutley Farmers' Market. Sunday June 25 is denim recycling day. Special guest vendor of the day is Pinot's Palette who will have a special painting project at the market. Each week a new guest guides the walk.
