ROCHESTER, NY — Livingston resident Matthew Smith, a 10-year-old Harrison student known for his inspiring cooking demonstrations and contagious personality, has been selected as one of the fan-favorite contestants of “MasterChef Junior” to appear in the “MasterChef Junior Live!” 2020 tour.

Smith was only 8 years old when he landed in the top eight on “MasterChef Junior” and has been celebrated as a fan favorite since the season aired in February 2019. Smith has gained thousands of followers on social media, given several public cooking demonstrations and even appeared as a Mini Influencer on "Rachael Ray" over the last several months.

TCG Entertainment, leaders in live tour productions, and Endemol Shine North America, producer of the hit culinary competition series on FOX recently announced that Smith has been selected to join lineup of winners and fan-favorites who will appear on the tour, which kicks off in Rochester, NY, on March 3 to bring the joy of the series directly to fans and foodies alike.

The family-friendly show will feature head-to-head cooking demonstrations and fun challenges with past “MasterChef Junior” contestants as well as an overall immersive audience experience that is fun for all ages.

A limited number of VIP Packages will be available in all markets and will include cast meet-and-greets, Q&A sessions, a signed show poster, photos and more. Exclusive “MasterChef Junior Live!” merchandise will also be available for purchase.

The tour, which was attended by packed audiences in 16 cities during its first run in fall 2019, has been extended to seven weeks for 2020 and will visit 40 additional markets across the United States, including Boston, Brooklyn, Washington D.C., Detroit, Chicago, Denver and more.

In addition to Smith, all-stars that are scheduled to appear on select dates include Jasmine (Season Five Winner), Che (Season Seven Winner), Mikey (Season Six), Avery (Season Six), Quani (Season Six), Reid (Season Six) and Malia (Season Seven).
