MONTCLAIR, NJ - Some years ago, Dr. Ed Gold of Montclair Orthodontics caught the marathon bug. He is now set to run a marathon in order to raise money for the Montclair Public Library.
Gold gives two reasons for this – he enjoys running and it’s a way of supporting an institution that he feels is so important for our community and beyond.
On November 24, he will be running the Philadelphia Marathon to support the Montclair Public Library.
According to Dr. Gold, “I decided to run for the Montclair Public Library with the hope that the Library will help lay the foundation for this generation and future generations to learn and apply their acquired knowledge to benefit society. The foundation of knowledge may help lead to the cures for diseases that afflict so many of our families and friends or help our society in other ways.”
Anyone wishing to support Dr. Gold’s run can do so through his Crowdrise page (crowdrise.com/o/en/campaign/dr-ed-gold-is-booking-it-once-again-for-the-montclair-public-library) or donate directly to the Montclair Public Library Foundation at 50 South Fullerton Ave, Montclair, NJ 07042, montclairplf.org.
