NUTLEY, NJ - Nutley adults will be able to follow in the footsteps of Nutley children when the Nutley Public Library hosts a 'Rock Painting for Adults' event on Saturday Aug. 4.

The event, sponsored by the Friends of the Nutley Public Library, is a part of the national 'Kindness Rocks' movement that has swept the nation. The library program is a part of their series of events called 'Libraries Rock!'

The rocks are meant to spread a message of kindness. Rock artists can take their rocks with them to share with a friend, leave them at the library to place in the #KindnessRocks garden, or leave them in a conspicuous place in town. Several TAPinto Nutley readers have reported spotting kindness rocks in local parks, on benches, and even at local businesses.
