NUTLEY, NJ - At the May 2 meeting of the Nutley Board of Commissions, citizen Joan Rubino expressed her frustration with the board's executive session prior to the public portion of the meeting.

Traditionally, member of the Board of Commissioner have met in the conference room starting at 7 p.m.. The conference room is informally known as 'the back room.' On May 2, that 'back room meeting' lasted for nearly 90 minutes.

In the meeting that is taking place at this moment, the commissioners moved right into the public session in the main chamber. The  executive meeting will take place afterward.
