NUTLEY, NJ - With "Back To School" nights behind us, the Township of Nutley is moving full speed ahead getting back on the campaign trail for the Nutley Board of Education election.

The Nutley Board of Education consists of nine elected trustees. Each trustee serves a three-year term, resulting in three members coming up for re-election every year.

The candidates for the November 5 election are: Frank DeMaio, Ralph Chimento, Vito D'Allesio, Dominick Ritacco, Danny Carnicella, and Charles Kucinski.

There will be two candidate forums with all six candidates present ahead of the election. These forums will allow the public to meet the candidates and learn more about the function of the school board.

The first forum with all six candidates will take place at Grace Church in Nutley on Wednesday October 9 at 7 p.m. That forum is being hosted by the Nutley Democratic Club. All residents are invited to attend.

The second forum with all six candidates will take place on Wednesday October 30 at the Nutley Museum. That forum, hosted by the League of Women Voters, will also take place at 7 p.m.

Both forums are open to the public. Additional details about each forum will be shared once known.
