NUTLEY, NJ - When Nutley Public Schools closed for two days because of the 'Bomb Cyclone' this month. most students and parents probably didn't realize that the last day of classes, and the date of Nutley High School's graduation would change, but they will.

The schedule of classes for all grades has 180 days of instruction. The original schedule called for classes to end on June 20 for all students, with June 18, 29, and 20 half days for students. The NHS graduation was set for June 21. With one snow day, classes would have continued to June 21 with the graduation unchanged.

As two snow days have been taken, the last day of school at all grade levels is now Friday June 22, with June June 20, 21, and 22 half days. The Nultey High Shool graduation is now set for Tuesday June 26.

In the event that two more snow days are used, classes will be held until June 26. In the event of more than two additional snow days this year, Nutley Public Schools will begin to consider taking days from the February and April school breaks.

At this time, the graduation is set to take place in the Nutley Park Oval on Tuesday June 26, and the last day of classes for all schools will be Friday June 22, 2018.

Details about the change are on the 2017-2018 academic calendar on the Nutley Public Schools website.
