The Nutley Family Service Bureau is a non-profit organization that has served the greater Nutley area for over 100 years. Its mission is to strengthen the emotional and social well-being of individuals and families through affordable mental health counseling and social service programs, including an expanded Food Pantry.
The Mountsier-Hardie Garden was designed by famed landscape architect Richard Hartlage and owners Silas Mountsier and Graeme Hardie. The two-plus acre space is not generally open to the public and has been featured in many publications lauding its beauty. The garden features grand views, areas of quiet contemplation, outdoor sculptures, and hundreds of rare and common plant and flower varieties.
“We are grateful to Silas and Graeme for their continued support of NFSB by opening their spectacular garden to the community for the benefit of our programs,” said Eileen Painter, Executive Director of the Nutley Family Service Bureau. “Mental health services are critically needed, as is the growing demand for our food pantry services. One hundred percent of the proceeds benefit these programs.”
Admission is $60 in advance, $75 at door; tickets at www.nutleyfamily.org. Will be limited to 200 guests.
