NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Family Service Bureau (NFSB) announced two new members to the Board of Trustees in February. Members Kimberley Donohoe and John Kelly, III were recently welcomed by life-time Trustee Ruth Bedford. Bedford has served NFSB since the 1960's.
The Nutley Family Service Bureau was founded in 1913 by a group of groundbreaking women who recognized the need for social services in the community. Initially organized to serve the less fortunate in Nutley, the social service programs created during the New Deal and Great Society shifted the focus of NFSB to counseling for families and individuals. NFSB still runs a food pantry to help with supplemental nutrition needs of their clients.
NFSB is at 155 Chestnut Street, Nutley, NJ 07110 973.667.1884
