NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley High School gymnasium will become a ToxiCity Saturday afternoon when the Indoor Percussion groups performs their send-off show at 3 p.m.

The send-off show is a local rally in which the entire community can cheer them on before they head to the state championships on Sunday. Their 2018 show, ToxiCity has been a fan favorite both home and at competitions across the state.

Indoor percussion is new to Nutley's music programs. Only in its second year, the group has won competitions over and over again this season. For people unfamiliar with indoor percussion, basically if you make music by striking something, it is percussion. Unlike the marching band, that performs outdoors on football fields, indoor percussion is always done indoors.
