NUTLEY, NJ-- With Coronavirus concerns still persisting, the State of New Jersey is automatically mailing all registered voters a ballot for the November 3rd election. While you will receive the ballot through mail you will still have the ability to vote provisionally in person if you prefer.
Nutley has installed its ballot drop box at Township Hall, located at One Kennedy Drive. Town Hall is directly across from the Public Safety Building on Chestnut St. The secure box is available 24/7 for you to drop your ballot up until 8:00 p.m. on Election Day.
All ballots come with a postage paid return envelope if you prefer to mail yours utilizing the USPS. It is recommended that you mail your ballot at least one week before Election Day.
Nutley residents are able to hand deliver their ballot to the County Board of Elections located at 465 Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard, Newark. Proper identification is required.
You may also drop your ballot in person to your designated polling station on Election Day between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. Voters may only drop their own ballots off.
According to the State of NJ website, ballots will be mailed no later than October 5th, 2020 but many counties will begin before then.
Voters will be able to track their ballot through a "track my ballot" portal.
