NUTLEY, NJ - Officers from the Nutley Police Department terminated a vehicle pursuit that reached speeds in excess of 100 mph but the driver really didn't get away. 

On Monday, officers attempted to make a motor vehicle stop on Route 21. The vehicle, a Nissan 350, was weaving dangerously through traffic in speeds of 105 mph in a 55 mph zone. Several unsafe lane changes were made, the driver also improperly passed several vehicles. 

Police ended the chase once the vehicle and driver identification were confirmed. 

A warrant was issued for the registered owner of the vehicle. The charge of second degree eluding was placed on the warrant.
