Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we enter a season filled with events in the Nutley Public Schools, I wanted to take the opportunity to send a reminder about our facilities access protocols.  We implemented these procedures for Nutley High School in December 2018 and are now expanding them to John H. Walker Middle School. As the year progresses, these procedures will be implemented to all the elementary schools, with details to follow.

1. All spectators, audience members and visitors must enter via the school’s designated door for the specific event.

2. The following items WILL NOT be permitted inside the building for all events:

* Fanny Packs/Large Purses

* Camera Bags/Binocular Cases

* Back Packs or String Bags

* Duffel Bags

* Rolling Bags

* Briefcases

3. Permitted items include:

* Clear Back Packs/Bags

* Clutches/Wristlets

* Medically Necessary Bags

* Diaper Bags * Coats/Blankets

* Seat Cushions

* I-pads/Mobile Devices

* Baby carriers/strollers

* Cameras/Binoculars

Failure to comply with these expectations will result in denial of entry.
