BLOOMFIELD, NJ - The Nutley Raiders took home the top prize at 'Cheer for the Cure' tonight on Foley Field.
Teams from twenty schools in Essex County competed against one another. One by one teams took to the field before a panel of judges with points awarded for areas like choreography, stunting, and spirit.
During the competition, the teams cheered for the other teams on the field, each team showed a genuine sense of admiration for the other teams.
Nutley Athletic Director Joe Piro told TAPinto Nutley that "this personifies what interscholastic sports should be."
