NUTLEY, NJ - It's Biden vs. Trump at the Nutley Farmers Market, cast your vote in person today.

In keeping with tradition, albeit with some changes because of coronavirus, the Nutley Academic Booster Club announces that the 2020 Kids' Election will take place tofaay, Sunday, October 25 at the Nutley Farmers Market.

Traditionally, every four years, the Academic Booster Club offers an invaluable lesson in democracy and citizenship to students under the age of 18 by sponsoring a kids’ presidential election. The election is usually held at an indoor location complete with realistic registration tables and voting booths, this year for social-distancing and safety purposes we are holding it outside at the Nutley Farmers Market. There's even an option to vote by mail.

To vote in person, come to the Nutley Farmers Market at 537 Franklin Avenue between 9:30a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to complete a ballot or put your completed ballot in the ABC's ballot collection box. Kids will also be able to pose for photos with life-sized cutouts of the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates.

Young residetns can also vote by mail by sending a printed ballot to the ABC at: Nutley ABC, P.O. Box 592, Nutley, NJ 07110. Mailed ballots must be received by Saturday October 24, 2020 in order to be counted. Ballots and instructions may be found on the ABC website, nutleyabc.org/kids-vote.html.

Counting of ballots will begin 1:30pm on Sunday, October 25 and posted the nutleyabc.org website and their Facebook page: facebook.com/nutleyabc as soon as they are tabulated.
