NUTLEY, NJ - Kids in Nutley are invited to join in the fun as two egg hunts take place Saturday March 31 in the township.
On Saturday morning, at 9 a.m.. the Nutley FMBA will host 83rd annual Easter Egg hunt at the Mudhole.
There will be two hunts, one, at the Mudhole will begin at 9:00 a.m. for egg hunters ages 6, 7, and 8. Across the street at Memorial Park a second series of hunts will take place for children 3, 4, and 5 years old. Children in their terrific twos are invited to meet the Easter Bunny.
All of the morning fun takes place at the intersections of Vreeland Ave. and Passaic Avenue.
Then at dusk, the Great Flashlight Egg Hunt takes place at Reinheimer Park.
Kids in grades 2 through 6 will bring their flashlight and get ready for some fun! Over 1500 toy and candy filled eggs will be scattered throughout Reinheimer Park for the great flashlight egg hunt. Reinheimer Park is located on Bloomfield Avenue across from the Recreation Annex Building. Children are asked to meet by the playground equipment to begin the festivities.
The egg hunt will begin at dusk. A golden egg will be hidden and the lucky winner will receive a large chocolate filled basket. Parents are encouraged to stay with the children during this event.
This event is open to NUTLEY RESIDENTS only.
