NUTLEY, NJ - By unanimous vote, the Nutley Board of Commissioners approved a resolution introduced by Mayor Joseph Scarpelli to provide free two-hour metered parking from December 10 to 28.
According to Scarpelli, "the suspension of metered parking during the holiday is a Nutley tradition to promote our business district and support our local merchants." The two-hour time will allow time for residents and guests to walk the district and "Shop Nutley First."
The resolution was approved at the Dec. 4 BOC meeting.
