Lawrenceville, N.J.. - Nutley Senior Frankie DeMaio earned his 100th career win today for the Raiders. He pinned his Notre Dame opponent in the match. "From day one of my freshman year I set two goals for myself. First was to get to Atlantic City and compete in the states and second was to get 100 wins throughout my career," Frankie DeMaio told Tapinto Nutley. "After getting my 100th win today, it felt great to get my hand raised and just to be embraced by my team and coaches. It was amazing to share that moment with them after all these years of hard work. Although it was great to get my 100th, I still have one more goal to accomplish which is going down to Atlantic City and make some noise." DeMaio becomes the 15th Nutley wrestler to accomplish 100 career wins. The Districts begin on February 16th. This is the 1st step to making it down to Atlantic City.
