The online petition reads:

A mega-warehouse is proposed to be built in Nutley, NJ on Kingsland street. This property is surrounded by family houses. This land is currently part of a class-action lawsuit because of soil and water contamination. This proposed warehouse would be built to accommodate 40 eighteen-wheelers, which would be adding to the already clogged traffic on Nutley streets. This will turn Nutley from a family town into an industrial town. This will devastate property value for blocks around this site. This business will devastate what makes Nutley a good town to raise a family.

As of 4 p.m. Sun. April 18, 410 people have signed the petition.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Monday, April  19, 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the public can view and interact with the meeting via Zoom.
