I want to thank everyone that voted to re-elect me to the Nutley Board of Education. It is truly an honor to serve on this Board. I also want to thank my committee and friends for all their help and support during the campaign. Our success is a direct result of all your dedication and hard work. I appreciate everyone's efforts more than I can state in words.

To my family, thank you for always being by my side in all I do. Your constant support keeps me focused and grounded. I love you all.

To my fellow Board members, an enormous thank you for the support, guidance and most important, friendship. Together we are moving our District forward for the betterment of our children and community. I am proud to serve along side each of you.

Congratulations to Fred and Lisa. Being on the ballet with both of you has been an amazing experience. I have seen first hand your commitment to our children and District. Let's continue the good work.

To Ken and Karen, thank you for your efforts and commitment. It is not easy to run for office and you both must be commended.

I am grateful for the ability to continue to make our school district the best it can be for our children.

Thank you all again.

Lisa Danchak-Martin

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to the voters of the Nutley for re-electing me to Board of Education.

I appreciate the efforts of all my friends and supporters who helped make this campaign a success. Thank you for talking to your friends and neighbors, posting to social media, putting up lawns signs, and providing me with advice. Most of all I’d like to thank my husband Mike and my family. No one wins an election alone, it’s a team effort.

I had the privilege of running beside four other candidates who each showed their commitment to our district by running for office. It is not easy to put oneself out there in such a public forum.

Congratulations to fellow board members Frederick Scalera and Salvatore Ferraro I look forward to working with you and the rest of the board to address the challenges ahead of us, to continue moving the district forward, working for our children, our community and the future of Nutley.

Fred Scalera:

I would first like to thank all of the Voters of Nutley that came out to support me yesterday.

Running for office is never easy but it requires a commitment a commitment of why do you run.  Mine is a commitment of public service. Throughout my career I have served in many positions.  Though all of those positions I have continued to see why Public service is so important. It is important now more than ever with so many challenges still ahead on all levels of Government.

Many issues affect our Township some locally and some nationally.  But now moving forward with my fellow Board members who truly work every day for our students in our Township and  to all levels  of Government we must work together to protect the values of our Township that has kept us Nutley for over 100 years.

I am looking forward to collaboration with especially our Board of Commissioners that are as hard working for the township as is our Members of the Board of Education are for our School District.

We must now move forward with one mission and that is to protect the values of our citizens and the Township of Nutley. I would like to congratulate Sal Ferraro and Lisa Danchak Martin for all of the success that we had in the election.

But now the elections are over and it is time to get back to focusing as a Board and continue to advance the work required to offer our students the best that Nutley can continue to advancing for those students.
