NUTLEY, NJ - Between shuttling the kids back and forth to school, Target runs, and grocery shopping at Trader Joe's, Nutley resident Lauren Holic rarely has time to meet the neighbors, let alone take a picture to welcome them to town. That changed Wednesday.

Late in the afternoon, Holic met this buck taking a stroll along Bloomfeld Ave near the On3 project.

Deer and other wildlife have been finding their way into Nutley using the park system and abandoned rail lines as wildlife freeways.
