REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
CICCOLINI REDEVELOPMENT STUDY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44a-20.5, sealed proposals will be received by the Township of Nutley Planning Board (“Planning Board”) at its offices at One Kennedy Drive, 3 rd Floor Commission Chambers Nutley, New Jersey 07110 on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11:00 A.M., prevailing time, for the following:
Preliminary Redevelopment Investigation Study and Report Pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:12A-5 et seq.
The Request for Proposals is to solicit from individuals or firms interested in qualifying as Professional Planners to provide professional planning services for the preparation of the preliminary investigation study and report to determine whether the Ciccolini site (the “Study Area”), consisting of certain properties located in the Township, which properties are identified as Block 3100, Lots 21, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42 and 43 on the official tax map of the Township of Nutley (collectively, the “Property”); or any portions thereof, qualify as an area in need of redevelopment pursuant to the Local Redevelopment and Housing Law, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 et seq. (“LRHL”).
Successful applicants will be required to comply with requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31, et seq. (N.J.A.C. 17-27) (Equal Employment Opportunity) and N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, et seq. (New Jersey Business Registration).
The Planning Board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Township of Nutley to do so and to waive any immaterial defect or informality in any proposal as may be permitted by law.
