NUTLEY, NJ - Officers of the Nutley Police Department responded to a call on Elm Place regarding a stolen motor vehicle. 

The owner of the vehicle reported that they parked the car in their driveway. When they returned to the vehicle it was gone. 

The owner told police that the key fob was left in the cup holder of the car.

The vehicle was discovered in Newark on Sept. 3, one day after it was reported as stolen in Nutley. Newark police suspect that the car may have been used in other crimes.
