NUTLEY, NJ - A motor vehicle stop on Franklin Avenue lead to the arrest of Steven Pekar, 21, of Bloomfield for 'Possession of Drug Paraphernalia' and 'Possession of Hypodermic Needle.'
On February 15, Nutley police spotted a male party standing in the drive-up ATM with a long line of vehicles waiting in line for the drive-up ATM. The individual was attempting to insert a check through the machine and into an account that had been closed for some time.
A different male party was found sleeping in a vehicle parked in the line for the drive-up ATM. A motor vehicle investigation and interview were conducted on the two parties resulting in the arrest of Steven Pekar, 21, of Bloomfield, who was taken into custody and transported to Nutley police headquarters without incident. He was processed, issued summonses for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia Possession of Hypodermic Needle advised of his Court date, and released from custody.
