Citizens of Nutley,
Elect Ken Reilly, Teri Quirk and Erica Zarro
On Tuesday November 6, 2018, Ken Reilly, Teri Quirk and Erica Zarro are running together for the three available trustee positions on the Nutley Board of Education.
Ken Reilly, former President of the Nutley BOE, has spent eight years working tirelessly towards his goal of providing a quality education to the children of Nutley, while remaining fiscally responsible. He has chaired the following committees: Personnel, Budget, Facilities, Academics and Athletics. He initiated both the Autism and Full Day Kindergarten programs to Nutley. He is a proud lifelong Nutley resident with five children. He was also the former President of Nutley Rotary and the Nutley Rec. Basketball Program. Additionally, he served on the Board of Directors of the Nutley Red Cross. Clearly, he has proven to be an asset to our community.
Teri Quirk is a speech/language specialist who has worked for 29 years with special education children in the district of Saddle Brook and is currently working with special needs toddlers in their Early Intervention Program. As an expert, her experience in this field will be invaluable to our district. She is also President of NPAN, a parent advocacy organization in Nutley, helping special needs children when there is nowhere else for them and their parents to go for the help they need and deserve. She has been to countless BOE meetings over the past 15 years.
Erica Zarro is a working single mom with a 6-year-old son in the Lincoln school district. Erica moved from Belleville with the hope of providing her son with a quality education in a safe environment. Recent safety concerns throughout the country, as well as test score concerns in the district, initiated her involvement and interest in seeking to make a difference for our children. Erica is the office supervisor for a local physical therapy company and is the regional director of philanthropy and charity work for her company.
Together we will bring the “Security, Transparency, and Accountability” our community desires and deserves. We are running together to bring your children not only what they need, but what they deserve.
Please come out and vote 1, 2, 3 on November 6, 2018.
Thank you for your support!
