NEWARK, NJ -Nutley's Dr. Chris Masullo reported that he was in a "pastrami coma" after having lunch Tuesday afternoon at Hobby's Deli. The deli's dining room recently reopened after a fire earlier this summer.
Dr. Masullo, known in some circles for robotics and rocketry in the Nutley Academic Booster Club's 'Let's Learn' program, is also a member of the Nutle Rotary Club and UNICO. Masullo teaches at Passaic County Community College.
On his first visit to the Newark icon since the fire, Masullo order pastrami. After dining, he reported that he was going into a 'pastrami coma' after his meal.
Masullo reported that he learned about the reopening of the deli from a TAPinto story.
