Essex County Board of County Commissioners' Meeting

PUBLIC NOTICE OF MEETING

In compliance with the Open Public Meetings Act, the Essex County Board of Commissioners Meeting Announcement:

The next Essex County Board of County Commissioners Conference/Board Meeting will take place by remote communication means on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at 5:00 P.M. Due to COVID-19 protections, the general public will not be able to attend this meeting in person but will be able to participate by means of communication equipment. The meeting will be streaming live and a link for the live stream will be posted on the Commissioners' website. The meeting can also be viewed on the Essex County Commissioners Facebook page and YouTube channel

PUBLIC COMMENT PROCEDURE: The public will have an opportunity to make public comment via e-mail AND via phone call. Members of the public are allowed one (1) comment per Public Comment session either by phone or e-mail (not both). If you have a comment to submit via e-mail, please send it to PublicComment@freeholders.essexcountynj.org. The Clerk of the Board will read your question or comment into the record during the public comment portion of the meeting. You should submit your name, address and state your question or comment. Submissions for public comment via e-mail will be accepted until 5:00 PM on the Tuesday, 11/02/2021, before the meeting. If you would like to call in and make a comment during the public comment portion of the meeting, click here to be directed the Essex County Board of County Commissioners' website for the updated phone number and password for the meeting. Speakers may call the number beginning at 4:45 pm on the date of the Meeting (5:00 pm start) and will be placed in queue until the public comment portion of the meeting. Members of the public calling in will have three minutes to speak.
