Sue was born in Jersey City, grew up in North Bergen and moved to Cedar Grove where she would meet and marry her soulmate and high school sweetheart, Scott Moore. They resided in Upper Montclair for 30 years and raised a beautiful family, making lifelong friends who quickly turned into family over the years.  Upper Montclair and the people in it were always extremely special to Susan.

She graduated from Memorial High School in Cedar Grove and continued on to earn her Bachelor of Arts at Jersey City State College. She began her pursuit for a Master’s degree at Montclair State University in 2019, finishing her first semester with Honors.

Sue continued to follow her artistic passion after her undergraduate degree and worked as a visual merchandiser beginning at Hahne’s – Newark/Montclair, then at B. Altman, Bloomingdales, The Nature Company, Williams-Sonoma and Raymour & Flanigan.

She was an active supporter of the Montclair Cobra’s and passionately served as the Montclair Grid Iron Club President from 2018-2019.  She found great joy and love in the football community – Faith, Family and Football.

Susan dedicated the latter half of her life to her family and was a selfless mother, wife and daughter.  Sue never put herself first, devoting every minute to the people she loved, especially her children.

Susan is survived by her husband and soulmate, Scott M. Moore; her children, Maxwell K. Moore, Michael S. Moore, Samantha E. Moore and Matthew N. Moore; her parents, Theodore & Karen (nee Allers) Delen; her brother, Kevin S. Delen and many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be considered to the American Cancer Society, New Jersey Chapter, 2310 Route 34 Suite 1D, Manasquan, NJ 08736, www.cancer.org in her memory. Flowers will also be accepted at the funeral home.
