NUTLEY, NJ - The Easter Bunny made a special journey through the township Saturday to pay a visit to a special little girl.
Nutley High School Athletic Director Joe Piro drove his white 1976 Cadillac El Dorado with a special guest rider. With the top down, the Easter Bunny was able to wave to residents as they made their way to their destination, all while observing social distancing protocols.
Nutley resident Ella was waiting on her lawn when the nearly mile long American classic automobile that was carrying the Eater Bunny drove around the corner.
We're not certain, but we think EB may have used a proxy. (The real Easter Bunny, from what we've been told, was waiting to get into the ShopRite to get even more Cadbury eggs, or so we were told.)
Ella is the granddaughter of Nutley Municipal Court Judge Joanne Cocchiola, we're pretty sure that might be her under the bunny makeup and costume, but we'll never tell.
