NEW YORK, NY - The National Weather Service is predicting a mostly wet week for Northern New Jersey with showers starting Saturday night and continuing on and off all week.
Today (Friday July 20) and Saturday until around 4 p.m. are expected to be sunny and partly sunny days. For Saturday there is a 30% chance of showers after 4 p.m. On Saturday night, expect showers and possible thunderstorms after 8 p.m. The chance of precipitation for Saturday night is 80%.
On Sunday, rain is likely with a possible a thunderstorm before 10 a.m. then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 10 a.m. The day will be mostly cloudy with a high near 84. South wind 10 to 15 mph.
For Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, expect temperatures to to remain in the mid-80s with showers likely on both days.
Temperatures are expected to fall into the 70s on Thursday, with a chance of showers.
