NUTLEY, NJ - The township can take two more jumps back in time with the two more performances of  'Rock of Ages' on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at Nutley High School. 

A small town girl and a city boy don't stop believing in chasing their dreams on the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles. Described as a "jukebox musical," Chris D'Arienzo's work tells their story with the music of Styx, Journey, Bon Jovi, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Steve Perry, Poison, and Europe.

The all-star production features a cast of Nutley High School students as well as a live band of students and professionals. The production staff includes director Michael Gurrieri, musical director Rebecca Polynice, choreographers Dara Moscaritola and Rebecca Vigna, assistant director Eric Wdowiak, producer Jenine Grzywinski, scenic designer Michael Gurrieri, lighting designers Nicole Case and Gabriella Rizzo, sound designer Henry Meola, costume designers Jenine Grzywinski and Christina Surrestky, art directors Theresa Lappostato and Angela Melchionne, student director Kaylie Flynn-Murray, and stage manager Natasha Marshall. Stage crew and production support are staffed by family volunteers and students, including members of NHS Thespian Honor Society Troupe 4757.

Pre-purchase of tickets is highly recommended as sell outs have become the norm for Nutley High School Perming Arts productions.

Tickets for reserved seats are available for advance purchase online at

All tickets are $15 plus small online purchase fee. Online ticket sales close at 3:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for those respective performances, and 10:00 a.m. on Sunday. Tickets will also be available for purchase at the door starting 60 minutes prior to each performance (subject to availability).

Nutley Public Schools guidelines for permitted/non-permitted items will be in effect for this event

Available at the show: Snacks and water ($1 each), flowers ($3 each), shout-outs ($1 each), Super 50-50 raffle
tickets ($5 each; Friday and Saturday only with drawing at Sunday performance).
