The Nutley Public Library will host a full week of events sponsored by the Friends of the Nutley Public Library for children and teens from April 13 to April 18!

All events that require registration can be signed up for at starting March 25 at 10:00 AM.  

  • Monday, April 13 at 11:00 AM: Wild About Wildlife Workshop - join an Essex County naturalist for stories, games and activities all about skulls, tracks, feathers and more! You can even make an animal track craft to take home. Open to ages 6-9. Registration required. 
  • Monday, April 13 from 5:30-6:30 PM: LEGO Club - our monthly LEGO club meets with new projects every month! For grades K-5. No registration required. 
  • Tuesday, April 14 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Escape Room Mystery - crack the code and solve the mystery before time runs out! Open to grades 4-6. Registration required. 
  • Tuesday, April 14 from 1:00 - 4:00 PM: Spring Break Craft Day - DIY craft stations for the whole family! Open to all ages. No registration required. 
  • Wednesday, April 15 from 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Paint-A-Pot / Plant-A-Flower - our annual decorating event! Open to all ages. Registration required.  
  • Thursday, April 16 from 1:00-3:00 PM: Video Game Free Play - play Nintendo Switch games on the big screen! Open to all skill levels. No registration required. 
  • Friday, April 17 at 10:30 AM: Sensory-Friendly Improv Show - explore a story through improv with Michele Traina of PropBox Players and play a game to create your own ending! Open to all ages. No registration required. 
  • Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM: Drop-in Craft Saturday - stop by and make a fun craft to take home. No registration required.
