Thank you to our fantastic bakers who competed in our Perfect Peach Pie Baking Contest: "Rustic Peach Pie" by Sophie Seckler, "Southern Sweet Tea Peach Pie" by Samantha Plotino, and "My Oh My Peachy Surprise Pie" by Marcelius Figueroa. Congratulations to Marcelius Figueroa who will go on to compete in a 2nd round of judging for a $300 prize and more best peach pie bragging rights!

Since peaches have had their party, it's time to celebrate summer vegetables with our Biggest Tomato and Zucchini Contest. Bring your oversized tomatoes and zucchini to the Greenutley tent for a weigh-in. Winners announced at noon.

We'll take your average-size produce, too, for donation to Nutley Family Service Bureau Food Pantry, or pick some up at the Market from Asprocolas Acres and Treelicioius Orchards. Your donations of non-perishables are welcome, too!

Looking ahead: On Sep 29, the Market will take part in the Nutley Fall Festival running 11am-4pm in Memorial Park I (the Mud Hole). Find the Market near the Chestnut Street entrance instead of our usual Franklin Avenue location. Market Walk & Talk will meet there at 9:30am.
