NUTLEY, NJ - Rob and Joyce of Pretty Handy will be joining the fun at the Old Canal Inn's First Ever Oktoberfest Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
Part gift shop, part maker space, and 100% " #ShopLocal," Pretty Handy is chaning how Nutley thinks about retail.
With special arrangement, the parking lot of the OCI will become a Festhaus for one afternoon only. Conca and the OCI crew will be serving beer to their guests. There are dozens of taps and countless bottled beers available for purchase. Then there's the food.
The parking lot will be set up with traditional barbecue and wood fired pizza. Joining Pretty Handy will be The Empanada Lady, Geloti by Mike, Somers Sours (pickels), and Nutley's own Philly Pretzel Company. A handful of local craft vendors will be present showcasing their wares. And if that's not enough, some of the best "best friends" from the Bloomfield Animal Shelter will be visiting with the hope of finding their "furever" home.
The fun starts at 12 p.m. and continues until 6 p.m. on Saturday September 21 at the Old Canal Inn, 2 East Passaic Ave Nutley NJ 07110.
