NUTLEY, NJ - In response to the cornoavirus pandemic, Bucco's Rising Stars announced Thursday that the May 8 'Casino Night' fundraiser is canceled. The board of the foundation are currently working toward securing a new date for the event.
Buccos Rising Stars, the brainchild of Nutley clothier Carmen Bucco, is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to lifting up foster care youth in Bloomfield, Nutley, and Belleville. Bucco, know for his custom suit business, Bucco Couture, grew up in foster care and has made it his personal mission to help the next generations of foster care kids.
The foundation, whose board consists of local residents, work in a wide variety of industries, and have all been seen, first hand, how children in the foster care system are real rising stars. After a successful inaugural brunch in December, the board couldn't wait to do more: get ready to have some fun at the first annual Bucco's Rising Stars Casino Night. Given the early positive response to the event, the board is working to secure a new date for this event, as well as other events that are in the planning stages.
The event was to be held the Forest Hill Country Club in Bloomfield, "Casino Night" with include roulette, craps, black jack, and more.
