NUTLEY, NJ - Sisters Meya and Celena had a blast at the Nutley Music Boosters Association's mattress fundraiser. The annual event was held in the gymnasium of Nutley High School.

Meya, who is in the fourth grade at Radcliffe School, and Celena who is a first grader, took full advantage of a room full of mattresses to have a little fun while Mom and Dad shopped. Owners of Custom Fundraising Solutions were fully aware of the great photo opportunity and even encouraged the girls to jump higher.

The mattress sale is one of several events held over the course of the year to raise funds for music programs in Nutley Public Schools. Funds from events like this, and Taste of the World, allow the band to travel to competitions across the region and around the world. One of the highlights of this academic year was taking home the top prize and performing at the TaxSlayer Bowl (formerly the Gator Bowl in Florida. NMBA funds also paid for a large part of the new band instruments at John H. Walker Middle School.
