NUTLEY, NJ - The Nutley Educational Foundation is brining the Color-A-Thon back to Nutley. This year the event will take place Saturday Oct. 26 in a route that will make its way through the township's park system.
The color-a-thon 5K run/walk is the first major fundraiser of the Nutley Educational Foundation (NEF). In the past, Color-A-Thon's were coordinated by the elementary school PTOs, the last one drew over 1,200 participants and raised over $50,000. The NEF is inviting the entire Nutey community to participate for the 2019 event hopes to exceed past results in both number of participants and funds raised.
A large part of the Color-A-Thon is to inspire people to enjoy a more active lifestyle while at the same time building community. Everyone is invited, so this is a great time to call your friends and neighbors and enjoy a colorful walk in the parks.
Registration is easy though the online portal Nutley Educational Foundation Color-A-Thon 2019
At the event itself, on-site registration will run from 7:30 a.m. and continue to 9:00 a.m. The 2019 Color-A-Thon will begin in Kingsland Park near the Gazebo.
