NUTLEY, NJ - Ballots for the May 12 Township of Nutley Board of Commissioners election are hitting mailboxes this week. The election is being done entirely by mail. Ballots will arrive with a postage paid envelope. 

The mailing address on the ballots is the Office of the County Clerk for Essex County in Newark.

In Nutley, twelve candidates are vying for five seats on the local governing board. Four incumbents are running, as well as eight challengers.

The candidates will appear on the ballot in the following order:

  1. Lorenzo Marchese
  2. Mauro Tucci
  3. Maria Hamlin
  4. Alphonse Petracco
  5. Frank Contella
  6. John V. Kelly III
  7. Joseph P. Scarpelli
  8. Christopher Cullari
  9. Carmine Allessio
  10. Daniel A. Carnicella
  11. Thomas J. Evans
  12. Sam Fleitell
