Nutley Commissioner Steven Rogers (R) publicly commended Essex County NJ Executive Joseph DiVincenzo, and Essex County Sheriff Armando Fontoura, both Democrats, for their dedication and commitment to help veterans and individuals in recovery from drug addiction.

After a one hour ceremony in Cedar Grove on Saturday morning Rogers told the press that “this is what can be accomplished when we reach across the aisle for the common good of the people. Congress can learn some lessons from Essex County”

All three leaders spoke to the crowd of nearly 100 veterans and others encouraging them to press on and assuring them that they will not be forgotten.
