NUTLEY, NJ - The COVID-19 Coronavirus report from the County of Essex shows increases in the number of confirmed cases and deaths across the state. The report also shows an increase in the number of cases in the state. The report was issues 9 a.m. Monday Apr. 13, 2020.

According to the report, there are 61,850 confirmed cases in the State of New Jersey. On Sunday there were 58,181. (3,669 more cases)

Statewide, we've lost 2350 people to COVID-19 Coronavirus, on Sunday that number was 2183. (167 more deaths)

In Essex County, there are 5,166 confirmed cases of COVID-19 coronavirus. The county also suffered 428 deaths.
